Olivet
A small community at the mouth of Mill Creek, just north of Solomon's Island, Olivet was settled by Calvert County watermen. They grew a lot of their own vegetables and were fairly self-sufficient. The community consisted of about a dozen homes, a post office, a church, and a general store.
Several years ago, the US Postal Service eliminated Olivet's ZIP code and integrated the community into the Lusby postal district.
